Gracie/Lefty Litter 2006

Gracie had 9 pups July 11th 2006, 5 Females and 4 Males. They will be ready to go locally August 29th or Sept 5th if shipped. The pups had their dew claws removed today. My Vet said, "This might very well be your Strongest Litter Ever!"

The Boys
The Girls
10 Days Old and growing!

Puppies at 13 days old. It's amazing how big they are in just two weeks. They have their eyes open, make little purry and growley noises and try to walk... Their ears are starting to open.

The pups are 6 weeks old now, I gave them their puppy shots and they have been wormed. They are all sold. Two will be flying VIP to New York together with their new families meeting at the airport. I am keeping a female to carry on Gracie's legacy. My plans are to get her Junior Hunter Title, then get her QAA before she continues on to earn her Master Hunter Title. It was a hard choice, these are very fine pups with tons of potential.
The pups are 7 weeks old in this picture. I am keeping "Lucy" (far left), watch for updates on her achievements.

Testimonial Hi Nancy,
Just wanted to give you an update.
Abby Grace is a wonderful pup!  Her temperment is so calm compared to most
pups.  Don't get me wrong, she's still a pup, but we and all of our friends
included can't believe what a great dog she is.
Anyway, thanks again for such a wonderful addition to our lives.  We have
talked very highly of you and your breeding and have even heard from others
that "know" about you and your dogs (in particular, hunting sales reps at
Gander Mountain!)
Have a great day and kiss Gracie for me!

I highly recommend these three books to everyone who buys my pups, or loves labs.
1) "Just Labs" by Steve Smith & Dale C. Spartas
2) "101 uses for a lab" by Dale C.Spartas
3)"Retriever Puppy Training : The Right Start for Hunting"
